    • Mrs. Irene Liggett Davis. 75, of Route 3 Marengo, died late Thursday in Morrow County Hospital following a brief illness.
      She was a member of the Marengo United Methodist Church and the Nathaniel Massie Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star at Manchester. She was a graduate of the Marengo and Edison High Schools and the Morrow County Normal School.

      In addition to her husband, William Glenn, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Janis Lewis of Columbus, Mrs. Claudia Grayson of Cincinnati, and Mrs. Gwen Tomlin of Mt. Gilead; a son, Lowell Glenn of Cincinnati; a sister, Alice Beacom of Sunbury; two brothers, Albert Liggett of Columbus and Reubin Liggett of Georgetown; and nine grandchildren.

      Friends may call at the Bennett-Brown Funeral Home in Ashley from 3 to 5 and from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Eastern Star services will be conducted at the funeral home this evening at 8 p.m.

      Funeral services will be conducted at the Marengo United Methodist Church at 3 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Marengo Cemetery.
