    • According to Julius' death certificate his parents were never married. It gives his father's name as Lou Hayslip. In the 1880 census David Hazlip, born 1856, is living next door and William Haselip, born 1834, is living two houses away from Ellen Raymer. This means nothing but I cannot find any other persons with a similar last name in Grayson County in 1880.
