  	—The Eugene Register-Guard Lane County, Oregon October 14, 2013 Maple Viola Beights 1917 - 2013 Maple Viola Beights was born November 18, 1917 in Rich Hill, Missouri, to Rupert Maple Beights and Ethel Viola Ash. Maple was one of six children. The family moved to Colorado where she completed her education. She married Jerry E. Lyons on June 25, 1937. They lived in Oregon where Maple retired from Holt International. In 1990, Maple and Jerry moved to Vancouver, WA. Jerry preceded her in death in 1994. She was an active member at First Presbyterian Church until her death. Maple is survived by 3 siblings: Norma Randall, Ruby Shepherd and Dale Beights.Children: David Lyons (Rose Mary), Sharon Webb (Ross), Mona Bain (Larry)Grandchildren: Dayna Weber, Ben Lyons, Adam Lyons, Heidi Webb Hart, Becky Webb Wilhite, Amy Webb Lanum, Natalie Bain, Curtis Bain, Angela Pope and Scott Bain, and 17 great-grandchildren. Dearly loved, she will be deeply missed.
