THEODORE D. CARVER
Theodore D. Carver, 48 years old, died at his home on Castle street, Sciotoville, shortly before six o'clock Tuesday morning following a lingering illness of nearly two years with spinal trouble.
Mr. Carver was a native of Carter county, Ky., but came to Portsmouth when still a young man and has since lived here. For many years he followed his .. as a molder, but for some time prior to his illness he was employed by Coburn Bros. as a truck driver.
He is survived by his widow and three sons, Oscar, Theodore, Jr., and Chester, all at home, besides three brothers, Bolin Carver, of Sciotoville, George Carver of Springfield and Frank Carver of Louisville, Ky., and two sisters, Mrs. Eliza Clark of Munn's Run and Mrs. Ida Allen of Spring Lane, this city.
The funeral will be held from the Carver home at two o'clock Thursday afternoon. Burial will be made in Rosemount Road cemetery.
