    • Funeral services were held in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Alonzo Driscoll, of Blanchester, Monday at 2 P. M., for Mrs. Malinda Davis, 87, of near Bowersville, Interment was in the Lynchburg cemetery.

      Mrs. Davis died in the home of the daughter, Saturday evening after a long illness. A native of Adams County, she was born January 20, 1852. She belonged to the Methodist Church.

      Survivors, besides the daughter, include two sons, Max and R. H. Davis; 28 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Mrs. Davis was the last member of her family.

      Burial was in charge of Stewart, Burr & Powers, of Jamestown.
