- Eileen H. Kelly, 96,formerly of Carroll, Ohio, died Staurday, February 11, 2012.
Born February 4, 1916, in Portsmouth, Ohio to the Lorain and Lettie (Weter) Higins.
She was a graduate of Richmondale High School and Columbus Business College. She worked as a secreatary for the Soil Conservation Service where she met her husband. She enjoyed being a member of the Garden Club of Lithopolis, Ohio, Faith Circle, and Bloom Presbyterian Church.
Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Henry; sisters, Mildred Kelley and Beaulah McCorkle; brothers, Walter and Amos Higgins; and grandson, Mark Ebert.
Survived by children, Janet Kosmider, Carol (Charles) Ebert, Lois Bottarini, Wilma (Thane) Hecox, William (Sally) Kelly, and Richard (Marica) Kelly; ten grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held 407 p.m. Tuesday at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 650 Weat Waterloo Street, Canal Winchester, Ohio, where funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, with Pastor David Long-Higgins officiating. Interment Lithopolis Cemetery.
