- OTWAY-Ralph Eugene Brown, 92, of Otway, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at his residence. He was born on March 7, 1930 in Otway to the late William O Brown and Clara Ann Hoffer Brown. On January 12, 1948, he was united in marriage to Mary Rosalie Branham Brown who preceded him in death on July 13, 2016. Surviving are his children; Phillip E. Brown and wife Diane of South Shore, Kentucky, Mark Stephen Brown and wife Jackie of Otway, Thomas Edward Brown and wife Burnette of Lucasville, Ohio; 14 grandchildren, Kevin Brown, Lindsey Setty, Zachary, Mark, Dylan, Taylor Brown, Kristen Pertuset, Ethan LaCoste, Ashton Mitchell, Amy Lintz, Ashley Wilson, Sara Brown, Rachel Dunn, Lisa, Eric and Amanda Brown; 21 great grandchildren and 1 great grandson. In addition to his parents and wife, Ralph was preceded in death by a son, David Wayne Brown; six brothers, Edward, Raymond, Alfred, Arthur, Roy and Ollie Brown and four sisters, Janice Calabrese, Jean Bauer, Janie Ivers and Garnet Brown.
Ralph was a member of Beech Fork Community Church where he was a deacon.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Beech Fork Community Church with Pastor Tom Brown and Doug Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Fork Cemetery, Otway. Family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
