    • NEW VIENNA - Mrs. Sarah Jane Perdue, 79, died at her residence in New Vienna at midnight Wednesday. She was born Feb. 14, 1887 in Peebles, the daughter of Anthony and Elizabeth Manley Hazelbaker. Her first husband, James Patton, died in 1922. Aug. 28 1928, she was married to LeRoy Purdue, who survives.

      Also surviving are six sons, Ernest and John H. Patton, Yellow Springs; Arthur Patton, Willoughby; Clifford Patton, Ft. Wayne, Ind.; Floyd and Frank Patton, Pampa, Tex., two daughters, Mrs. Ida Mae Demmey, Yellow Springs; Mrs. Rowena Gentner, Alpha; 32 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

      Services will be conducted at the Smith funeral home here Sunday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. F. H. Smith. Burial will be in Yellow Springs Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 3 p. m. until time of service.
